Lamprell books $62m of jack-up refurb work in Q1
Contracts confirm Lamprell's dominance of core rig services business
UAE oil and gas engineering service group Lamprell has confirmed its dominance of the regional jackup rig upgrade and refurbishment market, with orders totaling $62 million booked in the first quarter.
Projects include a contract with RDC Qatar for the refurbishment and upgrade of its jackup drilling rig Gilbert Rowe and several contracts with Noble Drilling International for upgrade works on the Noble Gus Androes, the Noble Charles Copeland, the Noble George Mcleod and the Noble Chuck Syring.
The work on these projects will be executed at Lamprell's Sharjah and Hamriyah facilities.
