What products do you offer?
We supply automation systems for onshore applications as well as floating platforms, such as motor control centers, inverter drives, generators, transformers, hazardous area motors and software to run such systems.

Which countries are your key drivers for business?
We have seen greater emphasis in the Qatar and Saudi Arabian markets in relation to the projects business. For low voltage distribution products we still maintain a very strong presence here in our adopted home market of the UAE.

How has business been for WEG?
We have seen greater success in the larger machines and automation area last year than in previous years when we were securing a greater percentage of our annual turnover from Low Voltage Motors and distributed products.

What are some of the challenges?
Securing good quality, experienced electrical and mechanical engineers, visas and documentation, mostly.
