KBR awarded MCF ammonia plant revamp contract

KBR has been involved in the licensing, design, engineering and / or construction of more than 230 ammonia plants worldwide.

KBR announced recently that it has been awarded a contract by Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers for revamping its ammonia plant at Panambur, Mangalore, India.

Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide its ammonia technology to enhance the energy efficiency of the plant.

"We are firmly committed to delivering world-class projects using KBR technologies to help our clients meet their performance objectives," added Derbyshire.

KBR has been involved in the licensing, design, engineering and / or construction of more than 230 ammonia plants worldwide.

The contract value was not disclosed. Expected revenue will be booked into backlog of unfilled orders for KBR's technology and consulting business segment in fourth quarter 2016.
