The nominations for the 9th edition of the Oil & Gas Middle East and Refining & Petrochemicals Middle East Awards engaged all quarters of the upstream, midstream and downstream segments of the regional energy industry. 

The shortlist for the nominations was sent to the five judges – Luciano Poli, president, India, Middle East and North Africa, Dow; Vivek Chandra, CEO and founder, Texas LNG; Nicholas Kjaer, general manager, Middle East, Churchill Drilling Tools; Ben Oudman, regional manager, DNV GL, oil and gas, Continental Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, India and Africa; and Annabel Green, chief technology officer, Tendeka – who comprise the jury panel this year, and we're almost ready to announce the winners and highly commended for this year.

This year, the ‘CSR Initiative of the Year’ Award will be judged by the editors of Oil & Gas Middle East and Refining & Petrochemicals Middle East, as ‘Editor’s Choice’ from the nominations received.

The sponsors of this year’s Awards are Petrofac (gold sponsor), Orpic (silver sponsor), Proserv, Restrata, and Al Suwaiket & Al Busaies Attorneys at Law.

The winners and the ‘highly commended’ will be announced at the awards ceremony set to take place today between 12:00-15:00.
